The Mopar Ram Runner locked its fierce horns versus the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor in a five-mile supremacy battle on the desert course of Ocotillo Wells State Vehicular Recreation Area. The trail features washed-out river basins, gravel roads and rutted trails.
The Ram Runner crushed the Raptor with an overall time of 6 minutes 25 seconds, 33 seconds faster than the Ford.
“I was impressed with the Ram Runner’s extreme off-road capability — we jumped, slammed into mounds, cut through deep sand, all of it — and it came through it all like a pro … rarely getting into the bump stops or touching the skid plates.
